  17.   Exactly what does Xon/Xoff or CTS/RTS have to do with Class 1 
  18. operation?  They are solely used for controlling when data is allowed to 
  19. flow between the computer and the modem.

  21.   I have RTS/CTS on all the time with my V.32bis modem, whether I am 
  22. using Data or Fax.
